Dear Terrin Ash,

I am writing to thank you for changing my outlook on training and helping me to move closer to my fitness goal. Before becoming one of your clients, I had been in the gym for approximately 2 1/2 to 3 years and considered myself to be in pretty good shape. I've always thought being able to lift a lot of heavy weight would help me to grow stronger and bigger legs. I never really thought much about my technique, form, and proper nutrition. Since joining Body Design at Auburn A.C. Fitness in April, I have learned just how misguided and wrong I was.

You have taught me that achieving my fitness goal is not about how heavy of a weight I can lift. It is about using proper technique to execute a movement without ever losing my form, pushing myself to fatigue, learning to eat properly for my body type, and focusing/concentrating on what I am doing and what I want to achieve.

I know there probably have been times you've felt like I was a pain in the butt and wasn't listening to you, but I always took everything in. I can remember you staying on my case about following my meal plan. taking my vitamins, and selecting the right protein. I also recall you telling me to expect the best for my money, and to always push myself and never give up. At first, I thought why is he always coming down on my case, but then I realized that you were just concerned about me reaching my goal and cared enough to make sure I obtained it the right way.

Terrin, you are a great trainer. I can honestly say that anyone would be lucky to have you as a trainer. There are so many things I admire and respect about you. I admire the dedication and passion you have for your job. I appreciate the fact that you actually listened to what I wanted. I admire the way you go out of your way to offer help and advice to your clients and to those who aren't your clients. I marvel at how excited you get about training and the extra time and work you put in. I want to thank you for constantly expressing interest in my progress. You give something to people that very few other trainers give. That makes you special and stand out. You have a unique gift, never stop using it. You along with other teammates (Kolayah, Jabez, and Greg) have inspired me to want to become a trainer and help others to achieve their goals. If I can instill what I learned from you and your team to someone else; I would consider it to be a big accomplislunent for me. Thanks to you all, I have a new outlook on training that I didn't have before and I'm reaching my fitness goal.

Sincere Thanks,

Tonnia Thomas
